The shop is purpose-built for vintage and classic work. Our climate-controlled
spray booth maintains temperature and humidity within tight tolerances year-round —
because the conditions during application affect every aspect of how paint lays,
how metallic flake orients, and how clear flows.
The prep room is separated from the spray area. Sanding, grinding, and metalwork
happen there; the booth stays clean. This separation sounds obvious but it's
not universal — contamination in the spray environment is one of the most common
causes of finish defects.
Equipment includes a Spektrophotometer for color analysis, digital film
thickness gauges, a gloss meter, and a light booth calibrated to D65 for
accurate color review. The tools we use are the same tools the best restoration
shops and auction houses use to evaluate paint quality.
